In colloboration with MSF an international NGO, the Accident and Emergency department is busy is providing services to the public of international standards. Casualty Medical officers are on duty and the District Specialists are on call round the clock. when a patients vists emergency, he is examined at the reception and categorized and then treated accordingly. If specialist opinion is required, they are called on register. When the patient becomes stable, is sent home or admitted into the concerned ward if required.
To ensure quality services, the public are requested to bring only emergency cases to casualty. Cold cases are dealt in OPD.

Emergency cases are:

• Road traffic accidents, fire arm and other injuries.
  Chest /abdomen pain
  Severe Gastroenteritis
  High grade fever
  Respiratory distress
  Coma
  Urine / stool obstruction
  Deliveries
