DHQ Hospital Timergara is now Category A Hospital providing services to about 2 million population. the hospital possesses all the major specialties including Neurosurgery and Urology. The Dialysis Unit will start working in the near future.

The Blood Bank /Transfusion Medicine services are going to be enhanced. The hospital has planned to install Cryofuge for blood bags to separate various blood components. This will benefit patients of Haemophilia, thrombocytopenia, aplasia, thalassaemia and cancer.
