DENGUE TREATMENT CENTRE

    Ten beds have been  allotted in ENT Ward to be used as Dengue Treatment Centre. Necessary staff has been      assigned their duties.

STRATEGY FOR DENGUE FEVER CASES

Suspected cases of Dengue fever are referred to the focal person. The patient is examined, blood complete and Rapid Dengue test is done in hospital laboratory free of cost. Further treatment is given according to the severity of the patient. If admission is needed, the patient is admitted to Dengue treatment centre and treatment is given according to standard protocols.

PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY

The public is requested to safeguard themselves especially children from mosquitoes bu using mosquito nets, netted rooms, sleep in front of fans and mosquito repellants. Care should be given to standing waters especially in kitchens, bathrooms and drainage system of houses in streets. As the mode of transmission of Dengue and Malaria is the same so by avoiding and killing mosquitoes will stop dengue and malaria as well.

Please don't remove spiders webs unnecessarily as the these webs trap mosquitoes and mosquito is food for spiders.

We can manualy kill mosquitoes with cardboards or any flate material like plastic fly killing devices.
